This distillery in Billings, Montana produces spirits in tribute to the Yellowstone River which, at 692 miles long, is the last major undammed river in the lower 48 states. The letterforms of the logo flow together in beautiful ligatures, and the movement of a river is emphasized with the wave-like shapes beneath the letters. The eagle icon is formed from a single flowing line.
A portion of every liquor sale goes toward Yellowstone River conservation. To communicate this message, I created a badge featuring a stylized representation of the iconic Lower Falls framed in a “U” shape.

A Coffee Shop for the True-Crime Lover
This unique coffee shop hits the sweet spot between edgy and playful. It’s for the person always joking they’d “kill for their morning cup of Joe”, binges Netflix serial-killer specials, and always has a true-crime podcast playing.
I received an honorable mention for this work in the Graphis New Talent Annual 2019 competition.
A Uniquely Charming Deck of Cards
This entirely custom-illustrated and designed deck of playing cards features woodland animals (dressed in their finest!) playing various instruments that would be at home in a country roots band.

Luck, Strategy, and Dive Bar Vibes
This funky, dive-bar-themed board game is full of strange and delightful details. A group of friends grabs beers at the bar, then races downstairs to the basement music venue with their sloshing glasses—trying not to spill! Hand-drawn illustrations and a rich, smokey color palette add to the beauty of this unique board game.
Art-Nouveau Decadence
This boutique hotel exudes vintage-inspired opulence in reference to its namesake—late 1800’s illustrator Aubrey Beardsley. From the over-the-top art nouveau lettering to the layered hand-drawn visual theme, this hotel and the bar inside—Bar Aubrey—are refined and decadent, while still encapsulating an aura of oddity.
Wonderful and Weird
This exploration of letter forms and celebration of character illustration is all about creativity. For A–Z, a whimsical character accompanies a beautiful swooshing letter form, with only a fragment of a story to set your imagination to play. The only thing these characters have in common is that they’re strange and lovingly rendered.
